Living the Dream | changes, part 3

It’s time for changes, hard changes.
Business decisions are not based on emotions. I can not say “Oh, I don’t feel like working today.” without consequences. Over the past 20+ months, I’ve burned through a lot of savings renting space I have hardly used in order to keep myself, my family and clients safe. As time goes on it’s just not smart or equitable to hold space when I don’t feel safe working in that space. A tough business decision had to be made.
Bittersweet Announcement: Sweet Light Studios has officially relocated to the Santa Cruz Mountains Know that I will, still come to your location or a studio rental, anywhere in the SF Bay Area, to make your product and headshots. You can still send your products to me to be photographed in my home studio or I will come to your space on request. Goodbye SSF, it’s been fun!

Then, my daughter sat for me and showed me the amazing wonder of making beauty images. Change is a constant, see how I started.

Real People, Looking Good | Bay Area Headshot Photographer

Didn’t start out making pictures of people, in fact I abhorred the camera and did all I could to avoid the gaze of the lens. Little did I know back then that I would fall in love with portraiture and want to photograph everyone and show them how I could see them!
