Living the Dream | changes, part 3
It’s time for changes, hard changes.
Business decisions are not based on emotions. I can not say “Oh, I don’t feel like working today.” without consequences. Over the past 20+ months, I’ve burned through a lot of savings renting space I have hardly used in order to keep myself, my family and clients safe. As time goes on it’s just not smart or equitable to hold space when I don’t feel safe working in that space. A tough business decision had to be made.
Bittersweet Announcement: Sweet Light Studios has officially relocated to the Santa Cruz Mountains Know that I will, still come to your location or a studio rental, anywhere in the SF Bay Area, to make your product and headshots. You can still send your products to me to be photographed in my home studio or I will come to your space on request. Goodbye SSF, it’s been fun!

I never planned on being a portrait photographer | Changes, part 1
I never ever planned on making portraits for a living, in fact I ran from the camera! But, slowly, surly I taught myself how to make great photos in the wild, which in turn took me indoors to the photo studio. Then, my daughter sat for me and showed me the amazing wonder of making beauty images. Change is a constant, see how I started.
